2024 Football & Cheer Registration!

Registration Opening Monday at a cost of $250

(payment plans available)

PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR ANOTHER GRADE IF ONE IS FULL, instead, click on the waitlist option during registration.

Regisration fees help provide indoor/outdoor practice facilities along with tumbling coach and mats for cheer, league fees, rental of Riddell Speedflex helmet and shoulder pads for football, field rentals for practices and games, and referees, among other expenses.

 

 

 

2024 Season:
August - Early November 

Game start times:

1/2- 9:00 am

3/4 - 10:30 am

5/6 - 12:30 pm

7/8 - 2:30 pm

Eligibility

Sideline Cheer: Ages 7-14

Practices  are held Tuesday - Thursday from 5:45-7:45 pm with games typically on Saturday's beginning weekend before Labor Day through early-November.

Football: 

1st/2nd grade: under 9 years old on August 31st

3rd/4th grade: under 11 years old on August 31st

5th/6th grade: under 13 years old on August 31st

7th/8th grade:  under 15 years old on August 31st

If a player reaches the maximum age listed before August 31st, they are ineligible to play in that age group and must move up.

Practices Pre Labor Day will start August 1st: 5 nights a week (Mon - Fri) 6pm - 8pm at Sumner High School (or other SBLSD School depending on availability).

After Labor Day: 3 nights a week (Tue - Thurs) 6pm - 8pm at Sumner High School (or other SBLSD School depending on availability).

Game Days: Games are typically held on Saturdays, ( although an occasional Sunday cannot be ruled out), beginning weekend before Labor Day through early-November.

 

- Uniform/Equipment -

Cheer: Participants will be purchasing their own uniforms this year and will be on a 2 year rotation. Cost for uniform package is estimated at $350. More information to come!

Football: Wolfpack provides rental of:  Riddell Helmet & Shoulder Pads. You provide: Mouth guard, Practice Jersey, Undershirt, Padded Practice Pant/Game Pant (black), Rubber sole football Cleats and Water Bottle. This year Game jersey's will be provided for athlete's from the SIlent Auction Funds.

 

Please read the following information carefully. 

 

- Volunteer Hours Requirement–
Being a member of Valley Wolfpack Football and Cheer Association, you agree to volunteer 4 hours, per family,  to assist the program by filling much needed volunteer positions on game days and other Valley Wolfpack activities. 

 

Volunteer positions include things like: 
Concessions, Gate Sales, Announcing, Clock Timer, Chain Gang, Merchandise Sales, Stadium Clean Up etc. 

Your family will be assigned volunteer positions to fulfill throughout the season. It is your responsibility to work with your team mom to find a replacement/trade shifts if you are unable to work on the day assigned. Please know shifts will be assigned before or after your child's game so you will not miss cheering them on.  If you wish to NOT be assigned volunteer time, please see the Volunteer Buy-Out option below. 

Volunteer Buy-Out: We are offering a “volunteer buy-out” for $200. This option is ONLY available during registration. This option will excuse your family from having to fulfill the 4 hour volunteer requirement for the 2024 season. These funds will allow us to backfill empty positions by hiring help if needed.  Why a buy-out option? Frankly, we need your family's help! Valley Wolfpack is a 100% volunteer ran organization and it requires many hands to keep things running smoothly. Each year we are finding it increasingly difficult to find sufficient volunteers to help during key events. Having a Volunteer Buy-Out may allow us to hire help when needed. What happens if we did not opt to do the "Volunteer Buy-Out" and our family does not the volunteer hours?  If the 4-hour, per family, volunteer requirement has NOT been met at the conclusion of the season, your family will be invoiced a fee for the hours not completed. This fee must be paid prior to registering for future Wolfpack programs.

-Sibling Discount -
Sibling discount is not offered. In order to keep our programs priced low, we are unable to offer sibling discounts.  

 - 2024 Registration Fees -
 Registration: $250 per player registration fee + Processing Fee (Football & Cheer)
* Please note: Cheer has uniform costs that are not included in registration fees. Uniform pieces you purchase are yours to keep.  Pricing to be announced at a later date. 

Optional Volunteer Buy-Out: $200 per family (make sure you only choose this buy-out once if registering multiple children) This will excuse you from the volunteer requirements.

Pay in full:
Submit total fees online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account.

Payment Plan:  
Fees will be divided into installments with the first installment of $85 to be collected at the conclusion of your registration. Payment can be provided via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account. The remaining balance is to be divided and automatically deducted from the SAME ACCOUNT monthly on the 5th of the month with the last payment scheduled for 5/05/2024. 

Financial Aid: 
For those needing assistance with fees: Wolfpack Financial Assistance (WFAP) application is available at the end of this registration. 

- Registration Tips -
Please read each page carefully to ensure that all information is accurately supplied.  Registration is accepted first come; first serve through our registration system. When a team becomes full, it will no longer be offered. Please note that 7/8 has an age limit of 15 and grade limit of 8th in order to be eligible. 

It is not necessary to register your child for another grade level if the grade they are currently in is full. This could result in your registration being refused and your money being refunded. Instead, please click the "Waitlist" option during registration.

Please have the following handy to complete registration through our secured site: Medical insurance information; Physician name and phone number Scanned copy of your child's State Certified Birth Certificate (new football players only)  & ASB or report card to prove grade & Visa or MasterCard for registration fees.

Special Note: Our Football & Cheerleading program is Co-Ed however, our registration system is set to offer Cheer to females and Football to males to help curb registration mistakes. If your son or daughter would like to cheer or play football please register them for the opposite gender and we will make the correction on the back end. www.valleywolfpack.org
